Credit Tip: Quizzle Free Credit Report

Credit Tip: Quizzle Free Credit Report

Quizzle.com is not a quiz website, that’s sporcle, Quizzle is an online provider of free credit scores and free credit reports. There are various free credit report websites out there, but the Quizzle Free Credit Report is my favorite. Quizzle makes it extremely easy (and free) to check your score online. More importantly this site gives you a complete credit report which clearly displays all activities which effect a credit score.

Personally, I think everyone should check their credit score at least annually. Anyone in the market for a big-ticket item such as a home or car should begin checking their scores sooner than later. By checking your score and report early, you can help clean up any negative activity effecting your overall credit score.

Enter Quizzle.com

I first checked my credit score and report just a few years ago. At first, it was hard to determine which websites were legitimate and which were scams. Honestly, when I first heard of Quizzle, I figured it was the latter. Now, I’m happy to report, Quizzle.com is my go to credit report provider!

How To Access Your Quizzle Free Credit Report

Quizzle.com first asks all users to provide a valid e-mail address. Quizzle then sends a confirmation email to the email address provided. Make sure you have access to the email address provided. After opening the confirmation email, Quizzle asks all users to complete a few online forms. The forms ask all users for their name, birthdate, and social security number. Once the online forms are complete and submitted, Quizzle provides users with a detailed credit report.

Why Choose Quizzle Free Credit Report

One of the features I love most about Quizzle is how easily the information is to understand. The site has an excellent easy to use interface. The credit timeline clearly displays positive and negative credit events and provides tips to help improve your credit score. Quizzle’s credit timeline also clearly displays any unknown bills that have been sent to collections. Quizzle also provides all users with a free ‘score analysis.’ The score analysis clearly explains anything users can do to further improve their credit score.

My Experience With Quizzle.com

When I first read about Quizzle, I was hesitant to provide such an oddly named website my personal information. I checked various websites (forbes.com) to make sure the site was legitimate, all of which confirmed it was. After no time at all I was reviewing my full credit report for free. The first time I reviewed my Quizzle free credit report I found two unpaid bills which were sent to collections. Both were negatively affecting my score. One was an old Comcast bill for $15 and the other was a rather large medical bill I never received. It was disappointing to discover the negative activity, but it helped me understand why I was denied for an American Express credit card.

A few years later and I continue to use Quizzle.com for my free annual credit report. Each year, I login to Quizzle and request a new free credit report. This year I learned the importance of occasionally using old credit cards to help improve my overall score.

Final Thoughts

I know the name is deceiving, but trust me (the guy on the internet) that Quizzle.com is a great way to get your free annual credit report. After setting up your free account, Quizzle makes it easy to come back and receive a monthly credit score or an annual credit report. I’ve learned a little more about improving my credit score each year I’ve used Quizzle and will continue using the site for years to come!
