Every year hotel chains offer some pretty fantastic promotions to earn points more quickly. Obviously I’m never going to turn down free points, but I often find hotels points become much less valuable over time. Because of this, the only way to get truly great hotel redemptions is to take advantage of promotions and earn as many hotel points as possible.
This summer, Hilton is making earning points quickly even easier. However, you’re going to have to register if you want to earn double points. You can do so here. So, what exactly is this summer’s Hilton Honors promotion?
Earn Double Points On Every Stay This Summer
After registering, Hilton Honors members can earn double points (2X) points on every stay beginning with their second stay. As you stay more you’ll earn even more bonus points as well which makes this promotion especially appealing.
However, as I mentioned, you must first register for this promotion.

After registering you’ll earn 2X points on all stays following your first stay. Remember, since we’re talking about “Stays” vs “Nights,” you just have to spend one night in a Hilton to qualify. Basically I would’t let my first stay be a 10 day stay at a Waldorf Astoria if you get what I’m saying…
On top of 2X points, registered members can earn additional bonus points after 10, 15, and 20 stays!
After 10 stays you’ll earn 10,000 bonus points, after 15 stays you’ll earn 15,000 bonus points, and after your 20th stay you’ll earn 20,000 points. If you maximize this promotion you could easily earn 55,000 points for just 20 nights in Hilton Hotels. That’s a pretty darn good return for your time.
The rules for this promotion are extremely straightforward, essentially you have to register and complete all stays prior to September 8, 2019. Beyond that, there aren’t all that many limitations to this promotion.
Final Thoughts
From now until September I imagine I’ll have about 10 or 15 nights in various hotels for work and pleasure. This promotion is appealing enough for me to focus on booking Hilton Hotels when possible and even booking 1-night stays at a time. So, for a two night trip, I’d consider switching hotels to maximize this benefit.
